ATTENTION ALL YAHOO MAIL USERS
If you find that you don’t receive emails from our system, please complain to Yahoo. They block emails from Edison Nation. Due to the large volume of messages that we send out to their users through our system, they have mistaken us for spammers. All attempts so far on our part to get whitelisted over the years on their system have been ignored by Yahoo.
The only way they might fix it is if you all complain to them.
If you don’t want to deal with Yahoo (I wouldn’t blame you), then just go here: http://www.edisonnation.com/membership and click on “Edit your profile” and change your email address to a non-Yahoo email address. They’re the only provider that actively blocks us.
I’d recommend signing up for a free account at www.gmail.com anyway – it’s a much better service.

John,
Yahoo mail seems to work for some people and not for others. That’s what makes it so difficult to do anything about. If you aren’t having any problems, there’s no need to switch.
Greg,
You don’t have to change your email account with all of your friends – just remember to check it if you want any of the Edison Nation system alerts/messages from friends on EN. Google has a free notifier called, well, Google Notifier, which will tell you when you’ve got a message so you don’t need to always check it. Just Google “Google Notifier” to download it.

I don’t know why but I don’t seem to be having a problem with my yahoo. I get an update when I submit an idea and I get updates when the status changes. Richard Yost and I performed a test the other night by sending eachother emails through EN and then conferming it through reg. email. So far all is good on my end???

Greg, you and I are going to have to declare that we have not performed a mind meld (which would be a meld up for me so I’m not complaining). The truth is you lucky people sometimes get two Gregs for the price of one : )

Heya, that’s my son Milo at Disney last year; that guy was nice enough to hold him while I took a picture.
I’m not big on getting umpteen people and sites to change my email, but I might get gmail to route back to my main bucket. Twelve years ago gmail almost kept my wife and I from meeting because of a file size limitation with no error messages.

Hey Michael, how are you? I’m a gmail guy now.
That’s yours truly with my Cathy. I don’t deserve her but I’ve got her fooled for now anyway.

Thanks for the heads up! That explains why I get no upates; since att.net uses yahoo for their mail service.
