Cut thread into pages

The load time on longer thread is becoming longer and longer. I like the display order from oldest to latest. But load a thread page with 200+ posts is a pain. Especially we load avator picture from a different place.
I think we should cut a thread into pages, each page maybe hold 20 posts and we get to pick which page to watch, like the latest page only. What do you think?

I think in an ideal world the threads wouldn’t get that long. With that said, It could be a good idea if the program supports it.

But since we are throwing out suggestions, is it possible on the main forum page to include a number of minutes since the last post?
If the last post was made 1 minute ago, or 59 minutes ago, it just says “posted minutes ago”.
Anyway, love the site, and if it’s too much programming, I’m still cool with it.

We’re working on a bunch of updates to the forums right now guys including paging. And – Mark, this should be better than your request – a feature that makes every topic that you haven’t read everything in display bold, just like email!

Matt, I accidentally hit the {report as spam/junk} on Mark’s post. I’ve seen others do this too. Is there a way to have a yes/no confirming the report as spam?

Jason,
It requires more than one person reporting a post as spam to trigger anything so you don’t have to worry about it :-)

I accidentally do it from time to time when keeping up via my cel phone, too…
