When I started out reading some of the forum postings tonight, they were listed as to how long ago they were posted; such as 1 hour ago, 14 hours, 4 days ago, etc. After checking out something else for awile, I came back to the Forums, and to my surprise, they were now having the times that they were posted. And even more surprising was that All were like that, all the way back to the begining. I don’t know how the EN team pulled it off, but I have to say it’s a job well done.

Matt, I never knew that by holding the cursor over the (posted about # of hours ago), that the time stamp whould appear. I never had any reason to do that. Well that kinda makes me feel like going DAAHHH. (:>b)

IE9 logout is fixed. The dates are back to normal and the bolding now works as expected on unread forum posts.

Richard, please note that if you hold your cursor over the “8 hours ago” style date, it will show you the official Zulu time stamp. We’re going to see if we can make that time stamp a little more friendly. By the way, that feature has always been there. I had completely forgotten about it until this issue came up.

Hey Guys,
It looks like we screwed something up while fixing the log out button issue for IE9 users. Please bear with us as we figure it out…

Mine too Biskit.. the spinning wheel.. I miss the 4 hours/5hours latest post timer. It was easy to scan the threads I was watching and see new posts. Not really liking the new clock time.

Richard, thanks for confirming that my computer is not on the fritz. I noticed that too, but in the past, that has only been evident when there was something wrong, or some maintenance was being done by EN.

I use Firefox, and before last night Richard, if I just “hovered” over the “two hours ago” time stamp (for example), then the precise time would show up.

EN…FYI, I assume this has to do with Greg’s comment on another topic regarding IE 9 being more accomodated now. One negative, however with this change, fyi, again with Firefox, is ALL the posts are in boldface, instead of just the new ones (since last refresh), and for my use someone that flits around the house all the time and refreshes and peeks as I pass by my computer, it takes a bit of extra effort to see if something is “new” to me or not. Also, I have the perpetual spinning little circle (windows or the computer version of “I’m thinking about it”) up in the top right next to the preferences tab.
