I am looking for someone to diagnose my website problem. i royally screwed up. Can someone tell me how to fix it by looking at my site? the template is not on two of the pages… most importantly, the index page.
what a dope.
any help would be appreciated. don’t laugh too hard at how much i screwed up. :(

All of your links are looking to files on you personal desktop. You need to replace all of the file:///Macintosh HD/Users/Heather/Documents/TBI_2001/ with the base URL of your site like http://www.thebrideidea.com/ . If you use a publishing program then there should be a setting for that in there. |

Heather, I’ve used Dreamweaver alot, but not recently, so I’m a bit rusty. Can you give me more info on how it ended up this way. Were you updating or changing something? I think what you’re saying is that you lost your template on tthe index page. Is that right? |

Heather, I see you have the images fixed, but you still have some links that come from your local machine. your top navigation and your style sheet is still affected by the path of file:///Macintosh HD/Users/Heather/Documents/TBI_2001/ You may be able to just do a Find and Replace (CTR+F). Find: file:///Macintosh HD/Users/Heather/Documents/TBI_2001/ Save / Publish |
