New way to search the web

Offer a new way to search the web.

Google search – click search, read a list of site descriptions and links, click one you picked, wait for the site to load, see the site, don’t like it, click back button go back to google result page, pick another link to click, wait for it to load. Repeat this again and again till find your need.

Hahagle search – click search, look at the top ranked website in real size, don’t like it, click next, next site shows up instantly, don’t like it, click next, or use scroll bar to see the following 100 site instantly. Repeat this till find your need.

How we index our search result?

Collect top 300 ranked websites from google, weed out double sites, take a full size picture of each site.

Revenue

We don’t put ads on homepage or any result pages. Two ways to generate revenue. Plus to help clean the net.

1. Put a navigation bar called courtesy ad on every page, if click it a whole page ads will come out.

2. Use a Java script called leavead, when users leave any page, a drop down window will show ads. It is not pop up ads.

Both ways, we can put full page ads without using real web space. Our publishers might get rid adsense and run our invisible ads.
If they make more money than before, their sites will be ad free.

The above is my new idea, please let me know your thought about it. I know nothing more than imagination, very unprofessional, your feedback would be greatful.

Ok, Joe…

Go to http://www.google.com

Type in what you’re looking for… say “wool socks” or something.

Then you have 2 choices:

Click “google search” and you get a big list, LL Bean, REI, Zappos… and more and more.

Click “I’m feeling lucky” and it takes your straight to the “Smartwool” website for what you’re probably looking for. No list involved.

Are you saying if my idea works, people don’t need to be lucky to one click to see a website? Now they can see a list of sites for one click?

Do you know what I mean by the “I’m feeling lucky” button on Google?

Google search – result pages are a list of website descriptions with links. You see a list of site descriptions , click one you picked, wait for the site to load, see the site, if you don’t like it, click back button go back to google result page, pick another link to click, wait for it to load. Repeat this again and again till find your need.

Hahagle search – result pages are a list of website full size screen shots. you look at the top ranked website in real size, don’t like it, click next, or use scroll bar to see the following websites instantly. When you find the site you want, one click you are there.

There will be no site descriptions/links on the new engine, we only index full sites pictures.

The search result page is a list of real websites not text links. As you search, you see every site instantly.

Hi Joe! You’ve been busy, I see. I like this idea, being able to just see the top site without opening the whole list… but google does that with the “I’m feeling lucky” button, don’t they?
