Hey Everybody,
The new forum features keep on coming out. Here’s a new one for you – a mute button!
Don’t let one or two people who you don’t enjoy hearing from ruin all of your fun. If you don’t want to read somebody’s posts, just click “mute this person” down by the timestamp of any of their posts and you can continue enjoying the forums free of their comments!
If you want to take a peak into one of their comments, click “View post” and if you’re rift is over and you’ve made up, click “Unmute this user” and you’re back to being friends again :-)

The Mute feature in the Open-Forums is just an extremely subtle version of Censorship. Being the suppression of speech and/or deletion of communicative material, which may be considered objectionable, harmful or sensitive, as determined by a censor.
Cool…I’m all for it!

As for me, I have no intention on muting anyone from this Forum, I want to know exactly what’s being said, especially from those that are giving out not-so-correct information!?
I’ve become fairly unpopular here because I will actually call-out some members on some of the information being passed along here…
None of this information should ever be based on how that member ‘feels’ about the subject matter (i.e. Well, my understanding of it is…), but based on the actual legality or illegality of that information…In other words, back it up!

Neat feature Matt. I can’t imagine using it much, but nice to know that those who are annoyed by me will be able to mute me, lol.

Hey Matt…What a great idea!!!! I wish all blogs had this feature! There are those out there that are just obnoxious or otherwise, and it’s best to just mute them out! I love it!
