PetSmart is back for round two and wants to see all of your innovative pet product ideas!

After receiving such a great response to its first Live Product Search for interactive pet toys, PetSmart has teamed with Edison Nation again to find innovative new pet products of all kinds.

This time around, PetSmart is broadening the search to accept submissions for pet product concepts of all types and varieties to fold in to its offering of more than 13,000 unique and useful products.

Areas to consider include innovations in toys, travel and stay-at-home crates, gates and pens, collars and leashes, beds, grooming tools, waste management, upscale automatic water feeders and more.

PetSmart is all about keeping pets happy, healthy and finding innovative new ways pets and pet parents can enjoy life together. Products may be geared toward dogs, cats, birds, fish or small animals like geckos, hamsters or ferrets. Please keep in mind, safety is always a must!

Reward: Advance & Royalties

Licensed ideas will receive a $2,500 minimum advance on 20 years percentage of sales or buyout. We split the licensing royalties 50/50 with you on the products that we select. Royalties vary based upon the product but we always earn industry-leading rates.

Requirements

We encourage you to submit a visual representation of your pet product (i.e., sketch or photo). While not required, we highly encourage you to submit video of yourself demonstrating a prototype and explaining the features and benefits of your submission. Please be as detailed as possible in telling us about your innovation. As always, your submission must be unique and protectable.

Each idea costs just $25 ($20 for gold members) to submit and, as long as you maintain gold membership, your idea may be submitted to as many searches as you would like at no additional cost. Click here for more details on Live Product Search.
