Sometimes I'm just a little weird - at least that's what my kids tell me

October 16, 2008

ok, so I like aliens, bigfoot, ghosts, etc, etc. My sister recently brought a friend over to our house while I was wearing one of my alien tshirts (a little alien dude sitting like Budda). When I answered the door and her friend's eyes focused on my shirt, she said to her friend, 'he's into aliens' and then stepped around me to come inside. I wasn't sure how to take that - although right now I think it's kind of funny. I also find that I have a hard time finishing my inventions due to a little thing I like to call "focus". So I drift a bit. That is why I love these product searches here at EN. I can draw up what I'm thinking, pay $25, and send it off to be recorded. It saves me from having to remember to do all that! Since this is probably a better place for it, I will also tell you a little of my history in case anyone is looking for a partner for working on anything: I am a 42 year old father of four living near Des Moines, IA. I have a degree in electronics (from a long time ago) and I am former USAF (Desert Storm vet). I do document imaging/programming for my "real" job. My various inventions that I have remembered to write down have ranged from home products to novelty to medical to virtual reality. I have a high IQ and most days have a high intelligence. So, if you are in need help with anything - in particular if you live nearby - then send me an email so I know that someone read this... Have a great day Bill

I don't know about the rest of you but sometimes I almost think I have A.D.D. inventing skills. I have a list of inventions that I am either working on or want to work on but before I get very far, I end up thinking of another invention and it steals my attention. Since I have four kids, a wife, and a life, I have precious little time to devote to my ideas as it is which makes this inability to focus even more irritating. It may be that I think of and try to build/complete every invention 100% by myself. I find that a partner in inventing will help me greatly with keeping everything going down the same track that it started on. So, anyone up for a challenge? Although I'd probably have to meet you or at least talk to you on the phone, I'm not adverse to the idea of partnering with people in order to move something along. Let me know.
