Most inventors I have met have a real, almost sociapathic need to get feedback on their ideas and inventions. Being a hobby inventor myself with dozens of ideas for products, I have to resist the urge to seek assurances that my brain spasms are truly channeling some great inventor from the past. Because I am unique, just like everyone else, I have to do the long hours of research long before I even mention it to anyone for their reaction.
