Hello Forum!

I am new to all this, but actually not really that new when it comes to inventing, just too slow in putting my ideas into motion.

I’m very glad to find a group of people who are just like me. And this website really looks like it makes the average person like me able to get my ideas moving quickly. I have had a few ideas in the past and simply sat on them too long and to watch them appear on the market later with great frustration. To me, inventing really isn’t that difficult. Every time I see a problem I see an invention, it’s that simple.

I once had the idea of the doggy door alongside the sliding glass door. After investigating it I found out it was already invented and for sale at Pet Smart, Home Depot and Lowes. So, I bought it …LOL

I am a Mechanical Designer/3D CAD guru by trade trying to stay employeed these days. My wife does not work right now because she is studying to be a nurse and will graduate this fall of 2011. So, I am currently job searching for something new. But in my spare time I decided to pursue my most current idea/invention. And luckily for me I already have 3D CAD Models and drawings describing it. I just can’t afford to make a prototype. Anyway, thanks for reading my introduction. And if you need any help with 3D CAD models contact me and maybe I can help you out. My avatar (the Darth Vader head) is a 3D model example I did for fun for my two boys (9 &10). I look forward to meeting you all and submitting more ideas to the Live Product searches.
