At age of 22, Thomas Alva Edison got his first patent. Since then he got a total of 1093 patents which is amazing. Mr. Edison also had a truly long life, he lived in this world for 84 years. By using my fingers, I figured out that Edison had an average of 1.47 approved patents per month.
