Chances

Hi everyone! My time has come to take chances! I am a 50 year old female, mother of 7 and grandmother of 13. This year my last child moved out the house to leave me living alone for the first time in my life. I could not take to many chances being a single mom and trying to take care of my kids after their dad passed away, they came first. My ideas and creations just stayed on the back burner, but they stayed there. I was very creative from the start. I was born a Decorator because at the age of 9 my mom would leave and come back and a room would be rearranged, pictures and accessories moved around and she would give me that stare like "there she goes again", I couldn't help myself. I am a multi-talented person, I am a Tailor/Seamstress, I make and design clothes and household items(curtains,pillows,etc.) I am a crafter of wall decor, dolls, jewelry, anything I set my mind to do, I can do. I upholster furniture, I can do hair and nails( especially my own). I have an Associate Degree in Interior Decorating and I love to paint and lay floor tile. I am in school now for Real Estate Appraisal. Decorating is my passion and through the years being at home I had come up with various ways of doing things different and better then what was the norm and some of them I remember but some I have forgot(should have wrote them down. They are what you call "Inventions", The ones that I do remember should be shared with others I feel, not just for the money but to help make someone else's life easier, that's what it is all about these days. I thank The Edison Nation and Bed Bath and Beyond for this chance to possibly and hopefully share my idea's, because I have 3 ideas that I know everyone could benefit from, but I did not have the means or finances to put them out there, until now. The look on someone's happy face because of one of my products, is a dream of mine. I'm taking this chance to make my dreams come true, if I fail at least I tried, but I won't give up, these are the chances that we must take. UPDATE-5-24-2009, Son moved back home, well it was good while it lasted, lol, Well I am OK with him being back at home, just for a minute, so he say's, lol,
