R&D Safety Products L.L.C was founded and established on January 25, 2005. R&D Safety Products L.L.C is a research and development company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The organization is principally owned by Mr. Delmicio Randolph and Mr. Antony DeVilla. The company is located at 7921 Bloom Dr. St. Louis, Mo. 63133.

R&D Safety Products L.L.C is committed to bringing new technologies to market that make United States travel safer and more efficient. The goal of R&D Safety Products is to provide quality safety education, services and safety products to the nation’s automotive community. The number of trucks on the road continues to increase daily. Between 1994 and 2004 there was a 12% increase in tractor-trailer traffic in the United States. Providing safety products to the automotive community is a job that never ends. The organization has a lot of room to expand. Seatbelts and airbag technologies have advanced dramatically within the past 10 years. Tractor-trailers require the same amount of attention or more as Mexican truckers have been allowed onto the roads with multiple hitches. Tractor-trailers today can carry as many as 3 hitches along with multiple metric tons of cargo. Tractor-trailers have been a focus of R&D Safety Products as cars going under tractor-trailers are a routine fatality on today’s roads. Airbags, seatbelts, and all other devices have proven worthless against this adversary. While R&D Safety Products has other devices in the patent pending stage, no other device can have this much impact on the market, insurance, and revenue. While R&D Safety Products core mission is to grow, expand and improve the safety of travel, preserving owner equity is essential.

The design of the Public Protector calls for foam type materials to be utilized as its major component. Public Protector would be constructed of the best quality materials commonly accepted and used in the manufacturing industry today. Public Protector would be in the shape of a rectangle. It would extend from the mid-point of the trailer directly behind the jack stands to the rear of the trailer. It would also extend from side to side. Public Protector would start approximately one foot from the rear edge or bumper of the trailer. It would be flat and extend straight across the entire width of the trailer. It would be formed around the wheels and wheel wells. After it reaches the other side of the wheels it would taper off at an angle up to the chassis floor. Public Protector would be located approximately one foot high from ground level. With Public Protector located in this area of the trailer would cushion any impact with the rear of the trailer. It would protect rear end collisions as well as automobiles entering from the front of the rear tandems. Public Protector could save lives and/or prevent serious injuries.
