On July 24, 2008 we requested an extension of sixty (60) days as a result of expressed interest in your product concept. During this time we have been in dialog with manufacturers and retailers in hopes of securing an immediate opportunity to bring your product to market. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to do so, and as a result have released you from the agreement you executed.

Before disappointment sets in, we would ask that you step back and understand that your product made it to final consideration by our review panel, and was chosen by a retailer for further consideration. Please let this news be an inspiration to you as an inventor. The fact that we have not been able to secure an agreement yet, doesn’t mean your product won’t eventually be successful. In fact, we have had manufacturers and retailers call us months after we have released a product only to indicate they are ready to move forward.

Each year we see hundreds of great ideas that do not make the show. Often we are contacted by these inventors who found inspiration in their experience and had success taking their product to market on their own. To help you do the same, we have created Edison Nation (www.EdisonNation.com), an online resource dedicated to inventors helping inventors.

Not only can you use Edison Nation to obtain referrals for reliable service providers but you can also take advantage of a new feature called Live Product Search (LPS).
