I’m laughing out loud right now…
So with my product Stack Mates I receive google alerts, any time the word StackMates or Stack Mates comes across a search engine, goolge sends me an email. This is easy to set-up, go to google.com (hit ‘more’, click ‘alerts’). Handy Hint: Type in your competitor’s keywords and then you can keep tabs on your competitor’s marketing as well…or get alerts on your name.
Anyway…. Last month, I paid to be part of a Product-N-Press event in NYC. Which was great, it was a pleasure to meet Louis Foreman, Brian Fried, and others associated with the inventor community but it also allowed for some great exposure to the press.
Today, from a google alert, I came across a press “pick-up” …my first little piece of PR for Stack Mates.
So why am I laughing out loud? I just love the ending of my impromptu elevator pitch (….in a boat) it strikes me very funny…
