Every time I show someone this little project of mine. I am barraged by two types of people. There are the people that call me a hack/fake gun owner that is trying to under-mind the 2nd Amendment.

Then they’re are the positive people. That say, WOW! I can’t believe how simple it is and how come you aren’t a millionaire? To be honest, the money is an appealing idea to me, but I would really love to see this come to an end soon simply because I know this will save a few curious young lives someday from a horrible early fate. I figure this whole ordeal will be worth it for me then.

The only problem with that train of thought is the fact that. You only hear about the kids that get their families firearm to discharge. You never hear about the ones that are saved by a lock.

I simply can’t help wondering how many great inventions have been thought up that never left the paper and if I don’t get a response from a manufacturer soon. Soon being in the next year or so as I have been working on this thing for almost 10 years so far. I figure my new business partner and I are going to go into production and build and sell these things out of my garage. I really don’t want to go that route, but I can’t let this simply die without at least trying….
