Edison Nation was founded to offer the most go-to-market solutions to take product ideas to market. As Thomas Edison once said, "The value of an idea lies in the using of it," and we couldn't agree more.

It is our belief that the best ideas don't always come from well-known inventors or corporations, but the minds of everyday people. That's why we took inspiration from Thomas Edison's work ethic, perseverance, and passion for inventing and instilled it in every facet of our company.

A person's signature represents their identity. It's a mark of promise, confidence, authorization, and commitment — it shows how you want the world to perceive you. Thomas Edison is known as a prolific autograph writer and even had his distinctive "umbrella" autograph trademarked and stamped on every commercial product he sold.

So when it came time to create our logo, we wanted it to represent Thomas Edison's inventive spirit, creativity, and devotion to bettering the lives of people. We decided there was no better way than to incorporate his personal signature, and everything it stands for, into our own identity.

To accomplish this creative direction, Edison Nation joined forces with the Charles Edison Fund and the Edison Innovation Foundation. Our business and organization was put through a thorough vetting process to decide if our mission was in line with Edison's legacy of innovation.

Edison Nation is the first and only organization granted the right to use Thomas Edison's iconic signature.
