7.5% If your invention is accepted?

mountainmanent's Avatar

So if I give you guys a idea and if you like it I get 7.5% of the sales once its brought to market? What if there is no patent and you wish to obtain one....will I be included on the patent also? What if I would like a non disclosure signed before I submit a idea is this possible? Sorry for all the questions but the submit a idea tab is very vague.

Non-disclosures are always signed with EN when you submit any ideas.

Hi David!

Within our Innovator agreement, there are several different commercialization paths outlined.

If you submit an idea to our ASOTV search and it is accepted for retail rollout, the royalty back to you as an innovator is 7.5%.

If you submit an idea to one of our standard innovation searches or the Insider Licensing Program and it is licensed, the split is 50/50 between EN and you as the innovator.

I would encourage you to check out he Edison Nation Help page to review the standard terms and conditions of our innovator agreement (including confidentiality) before submitting to ensure you're comfortable.

You're also welcome to send questions directly to the team at questions@edisonnation.com.

Hi John!

The 50/50 split is for all the adjusted gross revenue received by Edison Nation. To review all standard terms of our innovator agreement, click here.
