Hi guys, I don’t know if you can answer this question because I don’t know how different Patent laws etc are in America in comparison to the UK and I’m new to all this so I know very little. So I’m working on an invention I’ve so far been researching things and put together a quick crude “prototype” So I have a couple of questions the first one being the article I’m making as far as I am aware definitely does not exist and I can find no reference to anything even similar that exists I’ve searched all over the internet and can find nothing nothing so I would like to ask what other possible routes could I check to be absolutely certain anything I might have missed or not thought of to check. Second question is for a patent it must be a new invention that doesn’t already exist and not something that has been “modified” This is where I have an issue because although I would say the device I’m developing doesn’t exist the parts that I thought to develop it from do exist already I’m not sure where to begin with this. Thanks so much in advance guys.
