"Thoughts to Paper" Patent Services?

seethesun's Avatar

Hi everyone,

This is my first post. I am looking at a company called Thoughts To Paper" for patent services. They have a great price for writing a utility patent ($2,167) including drawings.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them, the quality of work, timeliness, ability to receive responses, and any hidden fees, etc? I was considering them or QuickPatents.

They seem to be a “virtual” company, they broker a deal with a willing patent firm. I think you get what you pay for. I suggest you look through the classifieds in Inventors Digest for a patent attorney. I used a patent agent for my USPTO application, 3 years later still no patent. Best wishes.

The law firm that handles their patent work is “Sinorica”. If you go to Google patents and search on the firm, you can see the work they do. The majority of their business is with Taiwanese companies.
